The Princess Theme Party

This is a warning to all Men, PINK is about to be "in the house". It is time to honor royalty. The time has come for a Princess Theme Party Celebration. Im talking gowns, crowns and red carpet all around.

Invitation

To make your own invitation, on pink paper of course, write Princess ---- request your presence at a Royal Birthday Party Celebration. Cut the paper in the shape of a Tiara. Add a touch of glitter. Mail or hand deliver.

Ask the guests to show up in a fancy dress if they have one. Be sure to have a couple extras on hand just in case. Also have lots of costume jewelry and other asessories to play dress up with.

Use pink and white ribbon, netting and fabric to turn an ordinary chair into a throne fit for royalty. Let all the girls pose for pictures.

Decorate the entrance to your home with red carpet. A pink and white balloon archway is also a nice touch. Use a pink table cloth of course. Check out bettycrocker.com and search princess cake, for a Great Princess Castle cake It's the best one I've seen.

Party Games

Searching for Priceless Gems

Each Princess at the Birthday Party digs into a box of sand and gets a handful. Let the sand sift through your fingers in search of a precious gem. Continue until they each have 2 gems.

Use a box about twice the size of a shoe box. Fill it 2/3 with sand or white rice. Mix in some plastic jewels purchased at the dollar store or craft store.

Speaking of gems, click on the Princess Hat to check out the Princess Theme "Hat Party in a box". A great "main event" for your Princess Birthday Party.

Kiss the Frog

You will need green poster board, pink poster board, glue, scissors, white paper and a felt tip pen. Draw a large frog on the green poster board. Cut out the frog. Cut 2 eyeballs out of the white paper and glue on frog. Draw the pupils, mouth and nose.

Cut out lips from the pink poster board for each Princess. Put a small amount of poster tack on the back. Available at office supply stores.

Have each Princess shut her eyes or use a blind fold. Point them in the right direction to try and kiss the frog. Give each Princess several trys.

Tiara's

Buy paper tiara's prom a party supply store. Let the princesses decorate the tiara's using stickers, glitter, glitter glue, jewels and whatever else you have fit for a Princess. Crown the Princesses.

Poison Apple

Buy red and yellow apples. Before the party hide several red apples and a couple yellow apples. Tell the princesses that there are several apples hidden around the house. We need to find the poison apples. The poison apples are the yellow ones. Let the search begin.

Bubble Recipe

This recipe makes great bubbles. In a 5 gallon bucket, [If you're having several guest you might want to make 2 or 3 buckets] add 40 cups of water, 4 cups of dawn ultra [blue], 15 tablespoons glycerine [found in the first aid section of the drug store]. Stir gently. Buy giant bubble wands at the dollar store. Bubble solution works best if made a few days in advance. These bubbles are a huge hit at any party!
