Plan a Birthday Party your child will love
Party Planning Advice
Most kids Iv'e talked to tell me the best
Birthday Party they
have ever had was at their own house. Perhaps
because thats
where they are most comfortable at.
This is a big event for your child. That
doesn't mean you have to spend a ton of money.
I recommend planning the party with your
child as opposed to hiring an event planner.
Its simply
more personal when you do it yourself.
Were going to
give you all the help we can. This is your
childs party.
Ask their opinion on all aspects of the party.
Kids need to have choices
and this an excellent time to let them make some.
Think about your childs favorite things to do.
What are their favorite games. What kind of
party do they want.
Try to Compromise and Improvise.
Planning the party with your child will keep
them excited and looking forward to the party.
Make the invitations, decorations and favors together.
Start of Party
Have some games or task to do for the early
arrivals.
After Everyone Arrives
Time for activities. You will
find lots of activities and
games on this website. We will be adding
new pages every day.
Next
Time to settle back down a little. Lets eat! Sing
Happy Birthday and maybe play some
quiet table games.
Opening Gifts
To the child bringing the gift it is just as
important
as the child recieving the gifts. The little guest
is very excited about the gift they have gotten for
their friend. So let the opening
of the gifts be an
exciteing activity for everyone. Have each child
hold the gift that they have brought and sit on the
floor in a semi-circle facing the Birthday child.
Play the old classic
spin the bottle. When it lands on a child that
child takes their gift up to be opened and sit beside
the birthday child while they open it.
This is good for several reasons. It brings order
to the process, it is a fun activity and it acknoledges
the gift giver.
